The books may have different content, but all the textbooks use the same standards to unsure  some form of standardization of the curriculum.

Answer:

 American Prep International has elected to follow the MacGraw Hill, Glenco series of textbooks.

Where will my child get his textbooks?

Answer:

American Prep International School is an e-learning school. This means that textbooks are in digital format, and not hard copy. All textbooks are provided by the school and loaded onto your child’s laptop computer. (Grade 4 and up). Teachers compile their own workbooks for the lower standards.

How does my child access and use the textbooks?

Answer:

Each student (Grade and above) must have a personal laptop computer which he must bring to school every day. The school will load the correct textbook on to the laptop computer for the student.

The American textbooks are always very thick and loaded with content. Will my child have to study every chapter and every page of the textbook?

Answer:

No, the teacher will select the chapters and pages according to the available time and the capabilities of the student.

The teacher will use his professional judgement and either leave the content out or replace it with more relevant content from this part of the world.

The Thai Ministry of Education (MoE) expects every international school to teach a minimum hours of Thai Language and Culture.
