Frequently asked questions

FAQ

The following are some actual questions that have been asked by prospective parents. Some of these questions are answered directly or indirectly at various places in this website, but seeing that these questions are some basic things in the minds of parents we will try to provide condensed answers right here or refer you to fuller answers elsewhere.

(These answers are accurate as on 20 October 2016)

How many students are in your school?

We have 80 students in total now (October 2016). Our school started in August 2015 with 20 odd students and since then our numbers have increased at least three fold. We are expecting a consistent growth in numbers as the quality of our education is recognized and spread by word of mouth.

How many students in each class?

We have approximately 10 students per classroom. One of our Kindergarten classes has 16 students this year. Each of Kindergarten classes has a teacher plus one or two teacher assistants to help make teaching effective.

Do you offer education up to the age of 18?

No. Our school is being grown from the lower grades up. We are anticipating adding high school grades as our numbers increase.

What facilities do you have?

Library

Computer Lab

Science Lab with basic equipment

Excellent play area for the younger grades

Dining room (cafeteria) for lunches that are cooked in our own kitchen at school

Modern classrooms with aircondition. Each classroom has a computer and printer and large classroom monitor

(Students in the middle school each have own laptop containing the prescribed e-books for the grade)

What after school actives do you offer for my children’s age groups?

After school activities are limited due to our small numbers. We do teach beginner classes in Thai Boxing

What sporting/educational competition does your school partake in?

We do not yet participate in sporting/educational competitions. Mostly again because of our limited numbers

How does the visa process start, I will need visas for my children and myself?

Students will be assisted to get study visa’s. We do not provide a visa service for parents. Our office staff will however provide information where it is needed and requested
