Mr. Damian Bellon.

I have two daughters, Ariana, 3.5 years old, and Selena, 2.5 years old, who attend Kindergarten 1 and Pre-K classes respectively. My wife and I are very delighted with the girls’ progress as their English language development is rapid and their social-emotional development daily impresses us! As we are a mixed European family English has become their third language which the girls use with each other a lot!

The atmosphere at the school is family as everyone knows each other and the communication between parents-teachers and other staff is immediate for any issue that arises! I don’t believe that we could feel more confident and secure for our children! For any concerns and questions, we might have, the teachers are always there with immediacy and positive energy to advise us or to listen to us so that we can work together to solve any issue that arises!

De Winter Testimonial

I am Lily’s and Maira’s father. Lily and Maira have a mixed European/Thai background. Which may be an advantage later in life (being bi-lingual), but initially offered some challenges as well. They started off on a regular Thai Curriculum, to build a good Thai language foundation. But pretty soon it became clear that their English skills were seriously lagging. An international school was the only option/solution…

APIS was not around yet. So its predecessor became our first choice. Quite similar in nature. A small family oriented school – actually on the same, original premises! There is one significant difference, however”

  • The present management of American Prep International has a lot more experience in successfully setting up a new school. This isn’t their first! The result is that the school runs  smoothly, with less hiccups and stress than the original school.

The thing I’m most pleased about is, that the school is still “small-scale”. Everybody knows everybody – students, parents, teachers and management alike. The school is like a big family, sometimes they have disagreements and someone gets upset, but soon they are friends again and support one another in difficult times. No security issues whatsoever.

And also, since it’s relatively new, it requires a dynamic approach in order to develop. Thinking outside of the box! Creating solutions where necessary. The staff certainly seems capable of doing so. And this, in turn, attracts pioneering parents. I like that!

American Prep School (APIS) emphasizes five cross-curricular values that serve as excellent core for a student’s character development.

Students are happy at APIS.

Happy family atmosphere at APIS

I have a 7 years old daughter Viki. She is attending Grade 2 in APIS. I saw APIS core values in action as teachers showed compassion, boosted kids creativity and communication in English or local language. There is mutual respect and a healthy relationship between students and teachers that creates a warm and family-like atmosphere within the school. We are satisfied with the school. Moreover, APIS is a trending e-learning school with ample resources for every subject that is taught. The school provides great opportunity for my daughter to obtain excellent knowledge in areas that will be important for her future studies and development.

Teachers are highly qualified, and in the lower classes are supported by professionally trained assistants or support staff. Me and my wife believe that APIS provides the best education that can be obtained – excellent curriculum, modern classrooms, e-learning environment and professional staff. School values discipline, hard work, and a love for knowledge.

All of this will create qualities that are priceless for kids to become excellent contributors to society or community.

My son Boat has been a student at American Prep International School since it first opened its doors for students in August 2015. boats-ddAt first there were only a few students in the school but during the school year a steady trickle of students arrived. The school started with about 20 students and by the end of the first year there were more than 60. We are now still in the first quarter of the second year of operation and the enrollment has climbed to more than 70.

As a parent I am very satisfied with the school. I personally visit the school at least three times per week and I am always impressed by the friendliness and family atmosphere that I experience there. My son is very happy and he is making good progress in his school work. There have been times that I had to go to school to interview teachers because my son’s grades were lower than expected. These interviews were always dealt with in a very professional manner and in each case my concerns were resolved satisfactorily.

There is a family atmosphere in the school and I have noticed that the teachers seem to collaborate and support one another in good spirit especially when there is a special program at school. I am personally acquainted with many of the other parents and I know I speak on their behalf when I say that they also love and appreciate the school where their children are being taught day by day. We are especially pleased that the teachers are taking the 5 C’s of character development very seriously and do not only teach content from the California Curriculum, but also focus on helping our children to develop strong characters.
