Learning Beyond the Classroom at APIS American Prep International School was pleased to welcome third-year undergraduate students from Songkhla Rajabhat University for an educational field activity with our Grade 3 students. As part of the “Chang Hua Man” Project and their course on The King’s Philosophy for Local Development, the university students engaged our students in activities designed to introduce the principles of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in an educational setting. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn, participate, and connect with university students through hands-on activities. 🌸 Wai Kru Day 2026 at American Prep International School – Hat Yai 🌸
On 27 August, the students of American Prep International School – Hat Yai (APIS) proudly celebrated Wai Kru Day (Teachers' Day), one of the most meaningful and respected traditions in Thai culture.
We are truly grateful to all of our students and parents for their participation in making this event so heartfelt and memorable. The ceremony was filled with respect, appreciation, and gratitude, reflecting the strong bond between our students and teachers.
As part of the celebration, our students worked together in groups to create beautiful floral arrangements, which they then presented to their teachers as a symbol of respect, gratitude, and appreciation.
These special moments remind us that education is built not only on knowledge but also on kindness, respect, and meaningful relationships.

As part of our Professional Development for the 2026–2027 school year, all American Prep teachers and teaching assistants completed hands-on First Aid and CPR training with the expert medical staff from Sikarin Hospital.

**International Day 2025–2026** 🌎
On **May 28, 2026**, we celebrated our **International Day** on the final day of the 2025–2026 school year at American Prep International School.
Each class proudly represented a different country, showcasing traditional performances, cultural displays, and delicious foods from around the world.

* **Grade 2** – USA
* **Grade 3** – South Korea
* **Grade 4** – Japan
* **Grade 5** – Mexico
We also featured several special countries and cultures, including **South Africa, Hawaii, Italy , and Russia **.
Students, teachers, and parents were excited to experience new cultures, traditions, music, dances, and flavors, making the event both educational and enjoyable. It was wonderful to see everyone celebrating the diversity that makes our school community so special.
