2nd Orphanage visit

APIS has organized another special event to make life happier for those who deserve it the most.

From February 5 th to February 15 th , APIS students, teachers and parents have donated toys, books and other useful things to celebrate our “Gifts Day”. On February 17th , we took all of them to SONGKHLA Orphanage house to share our happiness with all children living there. Our students were very excited about this event, and we could see in their eyes that they really care. We are really proud of them.

We would like to thank all parents and students for all their contributions. They made many children

happy. We as good citizens must feel obliged to care for those who need it the most.

Valentine’s Day is coming!!!

Our teachers and students have prepared various activities for tomorrow morning Valentine’s

celebration. We will exchange cards and small gifts with all grades together. We will enjoy great

lunch with extra pizza addition.

Our parents also donated many toys for this occasion. We really appreciate this kindness
and

support. We will donate these toys to children who need them the most.

Our kids are busy with all of the preparations.

American Prep International School CAMP 2017

APIS is committed to provide the best education and life skills experience to our students through a variety of activities and experiences. During the 1st week of February, we organized APIS Camp 2017 in Chiang Mai. Let us share our experience and memories through beautiful pictures and a couple of words.

 DAY 1: January 31st

After a short morning flight, we reached our destination – beautiful city Chiang Mai, in the North of Thailand.
Our accommodation was located in the mountains with beautiful scenery around. After a short rest, we asked our students to get ready for our first day BBQ. They did an excellent job and we really enjoyed the great food they prepared.

DAY 2: February 1st

This day was full of interesting activities including archery training, lunch competition (grilled chicken in the box) and Night Safari with many animals to see.

DAY 3. February 2nd

this was another exhausting day!!! We prepared breakfast with the students and went hiking to Doi Pui and Doi Suthep – both with beautiful views of

Chiang Mai City. We also visited a traditional umbrella factory, and ended up eating traditional food with a traditional dance show in the center of the city.

DAY 4. February 4th

This was an even more interesting day!!!

After heavy breakfast (prepared by the students),we went up to Monjam Hill with strawberry farms where students picked their
ownbaskets full of yummy strawberries. We also enjoyed
beautiful scenery full of flowers there.

After that, we played paintball and mini golf with our students and parents who joined our last day activities. Moreover, in the evening, we experienced a traditional night market where we were able to buy a lot of memorable souvenirs.

DAY 5. February 5th

Safe flight home.

Swimming Video 2

Swimming again

Swimming is the main activity for PE classes in the 2nd quarter. And each week seems to be more enjoyable than the previous week. At first some students were somewhat shy to get into the pool. Others were hesitant because their swimming skills were not quite developed enough. However, the enjoyment of the cool water in the hot Hat-Yai temperatures took care of most of the objections and now all cannot wait for the next week’s PE class to arrive.

Swimming again

American Prep International went swimming for the 3rd week in a row and it is getting better every time. Those students who were somewhat reluctant to get into the water at first are now the first ones to get in and the last ones to get out.

Underwater photography seems to be the in-thing right now and all-and-sundry would like to be photographed under the water!
