Students are expected to keep themselves neat and well-groomed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Students show positive attitudes toward themselves and the school by looking good. Worn out, stained, frayed, or clothing with holes may not be worn to school.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Boys: <\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div id=\"attachment_3314\" style=\"width: 386px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3314\" class=\"wp-image-3314\" src=\"https:\/\/americanprepschool.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/20160810_155050-1-e1477823076178-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"APIS School Uniform\" width=\"376\" height=\"668\"><p id=\"caption-attachment-3314\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">APIS School Uniform<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">School shirts (of appropriate size) tucked in pants.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">School authorized (of appropriate size) pants.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">School belt holding the pants at the waist (Note: it is against good order and discipline for others to be able to see undergarments)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">All buttons tied except for top one.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Athletic shoes are acceptable if worn as they were designed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Hair cut to the bottom of the collar or held with a hair-band&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Hair if dyed should be of a natural color.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Girls:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">School shirts. The top and very two buttons at bottom left unbuttoned.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">School skirt worn at a modest length.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Athletic shoes are acceptable if worn as they were designed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Excessive jewelry and\/or make-up should be avoided<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">PE shorts must be of an appropriate length and size.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">*Tattoos deemed by APIS Management to be of a vulgar, pornographic or offensive nature are not permitted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Non Uniform Days<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> At times during the school year students are permitted to come to school in clothing other than their school uniform.&nbsp; These special days are approved by the administration. <strong>Note<\/strong>: the special days are a privilege and therefore can be terminated if students fail to comply with the following guidelines:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">No sandals, or flip flops<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Jewelry and hair requirements remain as for a normal school day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">No clothing with foul language, references or images of alcohol, drugs, or sex will be permitted.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Clothing should be clean and free of holes etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">No exposure of bare midriff.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: modification or these guidelines are at the discretion of the school director to.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uniform for boys and girls Mandated wear Students shall wear the prescribed student uniform at all times as determined by the Principal.&nbsp; Cleanliness is important for good health and appearance.
